Afriforex was founded by two former high school and university friends, John Mbugua and Mitch Kaniaru. They each got into trading a few years before the company was registered (2014) and were both self-taught. After many years of losses trying to understand the forex market individually, they realized the keys to trading successfully once they came together. Through years of losses and back testing countless trading strategies, they finally found strategies that work.

This was the reason for establishing Afriforex: we realized that there are many people going through the same struggles we experienced in the past. As the Afriforex team has grown steadily over the years, we have made it our goal to help as many traders achieve success in the forex market. We are very passionate about our training programs so that many forex newbies don’t have to go through the same mistakes we went through, in turn cutting down the learning curve to becoming a successful forex trader.
